Aims of the course:

The awiSX and awiDX Developer Training Course aims to provide developers with a good grounding in the use of awi to create web and executable-based integration solutions, along with an understanding of the constituent product elements and how they fit and work together.

Description:

A mixture of theoretical and practical sessions, the course covers the use of the awi development tools to profile target applications and to manipulate them from simple web pages.  The practical sessions introduce developers to the basics of developing awi integrations by following a series of specially designed hands-on training exercises.

The course also includes use of the awiSX configuration utility, using awi’s data transaction queuing software, awiQX, in conjunction with the awi web service to process data and prevent data bottlenecks and an introduction to desktop integration solutions using awiDX with VB/VBScript.

Duration: 2 days

Course attendees should have programming experience and an understanding of ASP or other scripting language.  In order to complete the hands-on exercises, each participant will be provided with a laptop PC pre-configured according to our list of pre-requisites supplied before the course.
